2019 Beau Vigne Guest Cottage Cabernet Sauvignon Beau Vigne

The 2019 Guest Cottage Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose is a little reticent to begin, soon unfurling to reveal fragrant notes of warm cassis, black cherries and black raspberries with hints of candied violets, chocolate box, spice cake and cedar chest plus a hint of iron ore. The full-bodied palate is solidly built with a firm, grainy texture and oodles of freshness supporting the taut, muscular black fruits, finishing with great length and depth.
