Each of the Siefert wines are 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Siefert Estate on Atlas Peak Road in Napa. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel and aged in new French oak barrels. The wines lead with dark black/purple fruit and end with an elegant finish, very expressive of the rocky soil of the vineyard, fresh and easy to drink, only improving with age. 
The gold “rock” on the label is actually a large glass boulder which rests on the property. It originated in the glass factories of Toledo, where the owner’s father was a firefighter. It is a tribute to him, and to the bravery of firefighters everywhere.
